This gorgeous platter, c. 1825, by Ralph Hall shows ‘Conwy Castle’ which was built by Edward 1 in 1283. It remains one of the finest and best preserved examples of military architecture, and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The back of the piece shows the erroneous spelling of ‘Conwy’ by Hall. This piece measures approximately 15×12, and is in great antique condition. No chips or cracks, and only light utensil marks. Color is deep and even. Fabulous display piece!
