This 1820s historical Staffordshire plate was made by James Clews, and features the Landing of General Lafayette at Castle Garden, NY, August 16, 1824.
This design commemorates the return of Lafayette to the US after his success in supporting the fledgling country in its battle against the British.
This plate is in fantastic antique condition, and is approximately 10 inches across.
Gorgeous rare platter, in the "Netley Abbey" pattern, made by William Mason c. 1811–1815. Mr. Mason's pottery only made a small handful of patterns in the very brief time they were in business. This is a large platter - approx. 22x16. In fantastic antique condition. Very small fleabite on rim, and rub mark on interior border edge.

Made by Thomas Fell, c. 1830-1840, the ‘Antiquarian’ pattern is well-loved for its hallmark ruins and fallow deer. Highly collectible, and rarely on the market.

About This Piece
Gorgeous antique brown transferware plates, in a highly pleasing Aesthetic period design. This lively pattern combines floral sprays, grasses, ferns and grain stalks which curve gracefully around the bottoms of the plates. Made by TC & F Booth, these plates are about 10 inches each, and most are in excellent condition.
There are two patterns - #01, and #02, with the difference being on #02 having a small dragon fly on the bottom left.
