Queens Rose Pearlware Teapot

$135.00
A lovely antique teapot, in quite wonderful condition with an estimated date of early 1800s. The literature suggests this piece was hand painted, made in Staffordshire area, and was designed to appeal to the Pennsylvania Dutch community in the US. Approx 10 inches tall. The alleged 'top' appears to have come from a different piece all together with a hacked out opening designed to replicate the original top, so consider this piece to be missing the top. Evidence of wear as appropriate for the age, and it appears the spout may have had a repair at some point.
