These fantastic plates are in unbelievably great antique condition. The slip of paper they arrived with dated them between 1822-1859, when these transferware plates were all the rage. With their aethestic scene, they are delightful cabinet plates but are in such terrific condition you could use them on your table. While they came to me tagged "mulberry ware", there are darker, closer to black.
